Last weekend was the final Scramble of the year at Bicester Heritage — and it was the busiest October Sunday Scramble yet — the weather was perfect, which always shows the fantastic grounds in all of their glory. The Sunday Scrambles take place a few times throughout the year and have become a must-see event, giving avid enthusiasts (and up-and-coming enthusiasts!) a chance to come together and share their passion. With over 40 specialists on site, there’s a lot to see and experience within each unique space. Each building is different — housing various workshops, showrooms and spaces.
As always, the Blue Diamond Riley Services lawn was scattered with Rileys for all of the visitors to enjoy. We had 2 Brooklands, 3 Imps (including an Ulster Imp), 3 MPHs and 3 Sprites. In addition, we welcomed over 25 customers’ cars — ranging from a prewar Bentley to a modern Aston Martin DB11. We were also very pleased to have our friends from the pre-war Aston Martin specialists Ecurie Bertelli with us for the day.
We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone again in January for the first Scramble of 2019 — ‘the intrepid ‘season opener’ at the start of the year which challenges avid enthusiasts to kick off the year in style with a jaunt to Bicester Heritage in the depths of winter!’
All our best,
The Blue Diamond Team
