Safe at last with Blue Diamond Riley Services
There is nothing more humbling than being trusted to bring a car back to life. Whether it’s a sympathetic restoration to original specification, or an upgrade to concours standard, our team will work meticulously to get the job done. We have completed major restorations on all pre-war models of Riley, and our work has won numerous awards; including various classes at Riley Register Concours, the largest single-make Riley club show in the world, and concours events in the UK and abroad.
In 2020, we completed the end-to-end restoration of an original 1932 Kestrel saloon that had been converted into a van in the late 1940s. Now our fully operational works van, we’ve upgraded it from a 1100cc Riley Nine, 4-cylinder engine to a 1500cc 12/4 engine so it is no longer at the mercy of a prevailing wind and will happily cruise between 60-65mph. With the exception of the ash frame and handwritten sign-writing, all works were completed in-house; we’ve even fitted hidden storage lockers for when we’re on the road to events such as Le Mans Classic.
