Blue Diamond Riley Services is here to help you make informed decisions when buying and maintaining your Riley. We offer two types of vehicle inspection, both of which are carried out by our specialist in-house mechanics who will provide a written report of their findings.
Pre-purchase inspection
Make sure the Riley you buy is the right one. Whether your prospective purchase is being sold by a private seller, garage or dealership, we will send one of our mechanics to perform an independent two-hour mechanical and structural assessment of the vehicle to identify any potential issues that need to be addressed and establish whether it is roadworthy and safe to drive.
From £110, plus VAT and travel.
Health Check
To help identify problems you may not be aware of, this comprehensive three-hour mechanical, structural and component check includes an engine compression test, battery drop test, cylinder leak down test, wheels off brake inspection, vehicle charging and antifreeze strength test. Findings are photographed and documented in a pdf report that uses a simple traffic light system to show what we recommend needs immediate, or future attention. This is accompanied by an itemised breakdown of the estimated time and costing of work required. We will discuss what this all means with you, and advise on the best course of action.
